ABOUT
Story of a story teller

With parents and grandparents who met through theatre, my acting background stretches quite a ways back. I pursued stage acting in high school and through to college, receiving my Bachelor’s in Theatre from Bradley University, then my Masters of Fine Arts in Acting from the Chicago College of the Performing Arts at Roosevelt University.
From a young age I did pretty much nothing but read, and when people would ask me what I wanted to do when I “grew up,” I would generally say “read books!” They would pat my head and nod. Little did they know…

My father lived apart from me in childhood, across the country near San Francisco. He was involved in radio and worked many disc jockey jobs. He would periodically record short children’s books in his “home studio” and send me cassette tapes. My love of the spoken word and literature started there. I would curl up with my Fisher Price tape player and listen to his words sent from across the country.
Upon moving to Chicago I pursued voice over and audio books relentlessly, recorded my first audio book around 2005 and haven’t looked back since! Over 700titles later I’m still loving every minute and every word; I couldn’t ask for a better dream job.
